Development of optimal sizing system for tactical gloves applying empirical loss coefficient ratio

Abstract This study aims to improve Korean male soldiers’ mission performance and protect them from safety accidents by establishing an optimal sizing system that considers the fit of tactical gloves production supply efficiency. First, wearing condition was investigated through in-depth interviews surveys. The glove loss coefficient ratio then analyzed a size selection experiment. Finally, optimized verified comparing coverage rate current system. empirically derived 0.075, for S-hand length: 168 mm, hand width: 81 M-hand 177 83 L-hand 184 86 XL-hand 191 89 mm. proposed in this 86.4%, showing improvement approximately 21.1% compared (65.3%).
